Summary

This study tested an oral medication, HRS-5346, in 120 adults with high levels of lipoprotein(a) — a genetic risk factor for heart attacks and strokes. Participants were at high cardiovascular risk and received either the drug or a placebo. The main goal was to see if the drug safely lowers Lp(a) levels in the blood.
