New pill may help kidneys last longer in chronic disease

Summary
This study tests whether a new drug called HRS-1780 can slow down kidney function loss in people with chronic kidney disease. About 1,978 adults with moderate to severe kidney damage will receive either the drug or a placebo, on top of their usual care. The main goal is to see if the drug helps preserve kidney function over 32 months.
