Can a biopsy predict breast cancer treatment success?

NCT ID NCT02422498

First seen Mar 25, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 6 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a pre-treatment biopsy can help predict how well cisplatin and radiation therapy work for people with metastatic or recurrent triple negative breast cancer. About 49 participants will receive the combination treatment and be monitored for tumor response. The goal is to learn if a specific biomarker can guide future treatment decisions.
