Closing the Rural-Urban vaccine gap: can simple reminders boost teen HPV protection?

NCT ID NCT05148559

Summary

This study aims to understand why HPV vaccination rates are lower in rural areas and test whether personalized reminder messages can help close this gap. Researchers are sending vaccine reminders to parents of 12-year-olds in a Wisconsin healthcare system, using each parent's preferred communication method. They'll track whether these reminders lead to more teens getting their first HPV vaccine dose within 90 days.
