Text messages aim to boost HPV vaccination in mexican american youth
NCT ID NCT02697396
Summary
This study tested whether adding text message reminders to a health education campaign could help more Mexican American parents get their children fully vaccinated against HPV. Researchers worked with about 180 parents in New York City who had children ages 9-17 not yet vaccinated. They compared families who received the education campaign alone to those who also got text reminders, tracking how many children completed all three vaccine doses.
