First seen Mar 07, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 10 times
Summary
This study tested whether a social marketing campaign, with or without text message reminders, could increase HPV vaccination rates among Mexican American children ages 9 to 17. About 181 parents or guardians in New York City took part. The goal was to see if these simple tools help more children complete the three-dose vaccine series to prevent HPV-related cancers.
