Scientists probe how standing and vibration tweak spinal reflexes
NCT ID NCT07043595
First seen Jun 25, 2026 · Last updated Jun 26, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study looks at how standing and whole-body vibration change a spinal reflex called the H-reflex in healthy adults. Ten volunteers will have their calf-muscle responses measured while standing still or on a vibrating platform. The goal is to better understand how the nervous system and skeleton work together to control balance and movement.
