Summary
This study looks at why type 2 diabetes often goes away quickly after bariatric surgery. Researchers will measure how the body stores and uses fat from food in 40 people having the surgery, half with diabetes and half without. The goal is to find out if better fat storage in belly fat is the key to diabetes remission.
