Summary
This study looks at why bariatric surgery can quickly improve type 2 diabetes. Researchers will track how the body stores and uses dietary fats in 40 adults before and after surgery. Half of the participants have diabetes, and half do not. The goal is to see if changes in fat tissue are the key to diabetes remission.
