Summary
This study is testing a new hospital-based program designed to prevent people from getting violently injured again. It will enroll 274 young people (ages 16-35) who have just been treated for a gunshot wound from community violence. Researchers will randomly assign participants to either receive the new support program or usual care to see if the program reduces return trips to the hospital for another violent injury over the next year.
