First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 02, 2026 · Updated 27 times
Summary
This study tested two ways to rebuild jawbone for dental implants in 40 adults with narrow upper front jaws. One method used a block of bone from the chin mixed with cow-derived bone particles; the other used a synthetic material. Researchers measured bone width changes and complications over 6 months to see which approach worked better.
