Summary

This pilot study tests two homeopathic approaches for people with long COVID: a specific remedy for the condition, and individually tailored treatments from a homeopath. Around 120 adults who had COVID-19 at least 12 weeks ago and have a medical diagnosis of long COVID will be randomly assigned to one of these treatments or to usual care. The goal is to see if these strategies can ease symptoms and improve daily life.

What this could mean

Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only, not medical advice or a prediction.

Active substance
homeopathic remedies
What this could lead to
If effective, this could offer a low-risk, personalized option for managing lingering long COVID symptoms.
What could go wrong
This is a small pilot study with no placebo control, so results may be inconclusive or due to natural recovery. Homeopathy's effectiveness is widely debated.
