Can your phone be your COPD therapist? new study tests home rehab
NCT ID NCT05314686
Summary
This study tested a home-based telerehabilitation system for people with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD). The goal was to see if data from exercise monitors could be reliably sent to therapists and if patients could successfully complete an 8-week rehab program at home. Forty participants with stable COPD used tablets and wearable devices to follow exercise and education sessions while their data was monitored remotely.
