First seen Jun 16, 2026 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026
Summary
This study looked at 326 home care patients and their caregivers to find out how common home safety risks are and whether caregivers notice them. Researchers visited homes and checked for dangers like slippery floors, poor lighting, and unsafe medical equipment. They found that while many homes had risks, most caregivers were not aware of them. The goal is to help improve safety for people receiving care at home.
