NCT ID NCT06881654

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 33 times

Summary

This study looks at two types of trays used for at-home tooth whitening: soft (conventional) trays and rigid trays. About 100 adults will use a 16% whitening gel for 2 hours daily over 3 weeks. Researchers will track how white teeth get, how satisfied patients are, and any tooth sensitivity or gum irritation. The goal is to see if one tray type works better or causes fewer side effects.
