First seen Mar 20, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 11 times
Summary
This study tests whether a home-based training program can improve mothers' knowledge and skills in caring for their low birth weight babies (under 2500 grams). About 72 mothers in Erbil will take part, and researchers will track the babies' weight gain, temperature, and overall health for up to 3 months. The goal is to see if simple home support leads to better outcomes for these vulnerable infants.
