First seen Nov 10, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study looks at whether taking a two-month break from birth control pills before egg freezing leads to better egg quality and quantity. About 394 women aged 18 to 40 who are planning to freeze their eggs will be randomly assigned to either pause their pill for two months or start the egg freezing process right away. The goal is to see if the pause improves the number of mature eggs retrieved.
