First seen Nov 05, 2025 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study tested new rapid HIV tests that give results during a single clinic visit, instead of waiting days. The goal was to see if these faster tests help more people start HIV treatment or prevention medicine quickly. 224 adults at high risk for HIV in Baltimore took part. The study measured how many people were linked to care after testing.
