First seen Apr 15, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study tested a once-daily HIV medication (tenofovir-emtricitabine plus efavirenz) in 70 adults with both HIV and tuberculosis. The goal was to see if a simpler, once-daily pill routine could effectively control HIV while being safe for people also being treated for TB. The main focus was on how well the HIV treatment worked after 48 weeks.
