Shops tested as lifeline for free HIV tests
NCT ID NCT06820697
Summary
This study aims to find a sustainable way for private pharmacies and drug shops in sub-Saharan Africa to keep providing free HIV self-test kits to adolescent girls and young women. Researchers will test different support systems, like subsidies and motivational tools, for shopkeepers over three years to see what helps them maintain this free service. The goal is to create a model that can be scaled up to improve equitable access to HIV prevention.
