New HIV drug combo studied in kids – hope for better virus control

Summary
This study tests the safety and proper dosing of three HIV drugs (atazanavir, darunavir, and emtricitabine/tenofovir alafenamide) in children from 4 weeks to under 18 years old who already have the virus under control. The goal is to find the right dose for different age and weight groups. Participants must be on a stable HIV treatment for at least 3 months before joining.
