First human tests begin for new Long-Acting HIV injection

Summary
This is an early safety study testing new injectable HIV drugs called capsid inhibitors in healthy volunteers. Researchers will give single and multiple injections to 85 healthy adults to check for side effects and see how the drug behaves in the body. The main goal is to determine if these injections are safe and well-tolerated before testing in people with HIV.
