Could antibodies keep HIV in check without daily pills?

NCT ID NCT06031272

First seen Apr 07, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 4 times

Summary

This study tests whether giving two lab-made antibodies can safely help control HIV when people stop their regular antiretroviral therapy for a short time. About 32 adults with HIV in Sub-Saharan Africa will receive either the antibodies or a placebo by IV infusion. The goal is to see if the antibodies can keep the virus suppressed and are safe to use.
