Summary
This study tests whether taking a daily 2-gram histidine supplement is safe and can help boost the immune system's ability to fight colorectal cancer during standard treatment. Twenty adults with stage II or higher colorectal cancer will take the supplement and provide blood samples to measure immune cell activity. The goal is to see if histidine can improve the body's natural defenses against the tumor.
