Summary

This study followed 472 people who had hip replacement surgery to see how long their new hip parts (the Accolade stem and Trident cup) last. Participants were between 18 and 75 years old and had osteoarthritis. The study did not test a new treatment; instead, it collected information over time to measure device survival and patient outcomes using a standard hip score.
