Do Patients' recovery surveys match their actual mobility?
NCT ID NCT07048041
Summary
This study examined whether patients' own reports about their recovery after hip replacement surgery accurately reflect their actual physical abilities. Researchers compared survey responses from 50 patients with results from practical mobility tests like walking speed and balance exercises. The goal was to determine if patient questionnaires alone are enough to monitor recovery, or if doctors should also include physical performance tests during follow-up visits.
