NCT ID NCT03072706
First seen Feb 26, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This study tested whether a custom 3D-printed surgical guide helps doctors place the hip socket more accurately during total hip replacement. 54 adults having hip surgery were enrolled. The goal was to see if the guide leads to better implant positioning than standard methods, which could improve outcomes and lower the chance of early failure.
