First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 28 times
Summary
This study continued to monitor 82 people who had hip replacement surgery as part of earlier trials. Researchers tracked how stable the new hip implants were over two years using special X-rays and measured how well patients could move and function. No new treatments were given; the goal was simply to gather more information about implant performance.
