First seen Feb 05, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This early-stage study tests whether a mix of a patient's own cartilage cells and donor stem cells, held together with a natural glue, can safely repair hip cartilage damage. Fifteen adults with hip cartilage defects will receive the treatment and be monitored for side effects and improvements in pain and function. The main goal is to check safety, not yet to prove the treatment works.
