New trial pits two minimally invasive procedures against stubborn hip pain

NCT ID NCT07396246

Summary

This study is testing which of two minimally invasive procedures works better for people with persistent pain on the outside of their hip. Thirty adults who haven't gotten enough relief from standard treatments like physical therapy will be randomly assigned to receive either a TAME procedure or a PRP injection. Researchers will track their pain levels and daily function for a full year to see which treatment provides more lasting relief.
