Can simple chair exercises speed up hip fracture recovery?
NCT ID NCT05840315
Summary
This small pilot study tested whether a specific, high-volume exercise program is practical and safe for older adults recovering from a hip fracture. The program focused on repeated sit-to-stand movements to build leg strength. Researchers measured if patients could stick with the program without excessive pain and if it improved their strength and mobility.
