New study aims to catch baby hip issues early in at-risk infants
NCT ID NCT07066852
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 33 times
Summary
This study looks at whether ultrasound screening alone is enough to detect hip dysplasia in babies who have known risk factors, like being born breech or having a family history. About 300 infants born in a Turkish hospital will be checked over time. The goal is to see if more frequent or different screening methods could help catch hip problems earlier and improve treatment success.
