First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study looked at whether combining high-intensity interval training (short bursts of intense exercise) with the DASH diet (a heart-healthy eating plan) can reduce artery stiffness in people with high blood pressure. Twenty adults with controlled high blood pressure participated. The goal was to see if this combination could improve a measure of artery health called pulse wave velocity.
