Pushing radiation limits to fight spine cancer pain

NCT ID NCT06204315

Summary

This study is testing whether a slightly higher dose of targeted radiation (called stereotactic radiosurgery) can be safely given to spinal tumors that have spread from other cancers. It aims to better control tumor growth and pain in 60 patients whose tumors are pressing on the spinal cord. The main goal is to see if this approach keeps the risk of serious nerve damage very low while improving quality of life.
