New hope for tough myeloma: Two-Drug combo takes on relapsed High-Risk disease

NCT ID NCT06948084

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 18, 2026 · Updated 38 times

Summary

This study tests whether a new two-drug combination (daratumumab and teclistamab) works better than standard three-drug combos for people with high-risk multiple myeloma that has returned or not responded to one prior treatment. About 80 adults will be randomly assigned to receive either the new combo or standard care. The main goal is to see if the new combo can make myeloma undetectable in the bone marrow.
