Can protein and lifting weights be the secret to lasting weight loss?

NCT ID NCT07113561

Summary

This study is testing whether a high-protein diet combined with strength training helps people with obesity keep weight off better than a standard low-calorie diet. Sixty adults with obesity will follow a weight loss diet for 10 weeks, then try to maintain their weight for 42 weeks. One group will eat a high-protein diet and do supervised strength training, while the other follows a standard balanced diet.
