Summary
This study looks at how using higher pressure during noninvasive breathing support (a mask that helps you breathe) affects oxygen levels in patients with respiratory failure and low oxygen. Researchers will measure changes in oxygen, breathing rate, blood pressure, and diaphragm movement as they adjust the pressure. The goal is to understand why higher pressure might improve oxygen levels. The study involves 50 adults with low oxygen levels who are already using a noninvasive ventilator.
