First seen Jan 06, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This study looked at whether a high-flow nasal cannula (a device that delivers oxygen) can prevent oxygen levels from dropping in people undergoing a procedure called ERCP under sedation. Sixty adults were randomly assigned to receive oxygen at different flow rates. The goal was to see which flow rate best prevents low oxygen and improves comfort for patients and doctors.
