First seen Nov 11, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study is testing whether a stronger version of a safe, non-invasive brain stimulation technique called tDCS can help people with depression. About 20 adults with major depression will receive mild electrical pulses through electrodes on their scalp. The goal is to see if higher doses are safe and tolerable, and if they improve mood.
