Sound waves target skin cancer in minutes

Summary

This study is testing a new ultrasound device to treat a common type of skin cancer called basal cell carcinoma. The goal is to see if a single 3-5 minute treatment can safely and effectively remove the cancer cells without damaging the surrounding skin. Researchers will follow 40 participants for one year to check if the cancer is gone and monitor any side effects.
