New implant for neck disc disease under study – could ease pain and improve mobility

Summary
This study looks at how safe and effective the Hexanium ACIF implant is for adults with degenerative disc disease in the neck (between vertebrae C3-C7). About 148 participants who already had or are scheduled for the implant will be followed for 24 months. Researchers will track neck and arm pain, disability, and any serious side effects related to the device or surgery.
