New implant aims to ease chronic neck pain

Summary

This study is checking the safety and effectiveness of a medical device called the Hexanium ACIF system. It is used during surgery to treat worn-out discs in the neck that cause pain and disability. Researchers are following 148 adults for two years after their surgery to see if their neck and arm pain improves and to monitor for any problems.
