Summary
This study tests an experimental drug, hetrombopag, to see if it can safely raise platelet counts in cancer patients whose platelets drop too low after chemotherapy. About 150 adults with solid tumors (like lung, breast, or colon cancer) will receive either the drug or a placebo during their chemo cycles. The goal is to help patients complete their planned chemo without delays or needing rescue treatments for low platelets.
