New study aims to find best Pre-Surgery prep for complex hernias

Summary
This study looks at different ways to prepare people with large, complex incisional hernias for surgery. The goal is to find which method works best to make the repair safer and more successful. About 120 adults will be assigned to receive either botulinum toxin injections, a special gas treatment, both, or standard care before their operation.
