NCT ID NCT02747888
First seen Jun 12, 2026 · Last updated Jun 17, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study aims to uncover genetic factors that increase the risk of thyroid cancer, especially in children and families with a strong history of the disease. Researchers will collect medical history and blood or saliva samples from 250 participants to look for inherited gene changes. The goal is to better understand why some people develop thyroid cancer, not to test a new treatment.
