Summary
This study tested a combination of four herbal ingredients (Aesculus hippocastanum, Polygonum acre, Smilax papyracea, and rutin) in tablet form for treating hemorrhoid symptoms. It involved 120 adults with grade 1, 2, or 3 hemorrhoids who took the tablets for 60 days. The goal was to see if the treatment improved symptoms like pain, bleeding, itching, and prolapse using standard symptom scores.
