Summary
This study tested a new drug called MP-424 combined with two standard medications (peginterferon alfa-2b and ribavirin) in 109 people with genotype 1 hepatitis C whose virus returned after previous treatment. The goal was to see if this combination could make the virus undetectable 24 weeks after treatment ended. Participants had chronic hepatitis C but no liver cirrhosis or failure.
