Summary
This study compares a new once-daily combination pill (henagliflozin plus metformin) against standard metformin pills in 268 adults newly diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. The goal is to see if the combo better controls blood sugar, reduces weight, and increases the chance of diabetes remission over 24 weeks. Participants must be 18-75, with HbA1c between 7-9%, and diagnosed within the last 2 years.
