First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 17 times
Summary
This study tested two different materials used to control bleeding during root-end surgery in 34 adults with infected tooth roots. One group received a surgical glue, the other a ferric sulfate solution. Researchers measured how well each controlled bleeding, how much pain patients felt afterward, and their quality of life over a week. The goal was to find which material works better and improves recovery.
