Do hemorrhoids signal hidden vein problems in your legs?

NCT ID NCT07317492

Summary

This study aims to find out if people with hemorrhoids are more likely to also have varicose veins in their legs. Researchers will compare 400 adults—200 with hemorrhoids and 200 without—using ultrasound scans to check for vein issues. This is an observational study, meaning no treatment or experimental procedures are involved; it's purely to gather information about a possible link between these two common vein conditions.
